Rules and Standards around Surge Protection Devices Our SPDs have been designed to comply to AS/NZS, IEC and other standards.
The AS/NZS 3000:2018 ‘Wiring rules’ and the new AS1768:2021 ’Lightning protection’ are the two most relevant Australian standards for SPD guidance, selection and installation.
